Jason has been barbecuing for over 15 years. He's been eating BBQ for much longer! It's not unlike him to plan a trip across the US just to visit BBQ restaurants.
Jason has been catering BBQ events for over 10 years. He's catered for Chaminade Julienne's Music Department events, the Dayton Area Rugby Club's post-game socials, and a number of private events. He's also worked with a few local barbecue restaurants to help them make their barbecue more authentic and consistent.
When we lived in New Zealand, we were one of the first online barbeque retailers there. We brought our knowledge of Authentic American Barbeque and helped to grow the barbeque community through our products, our own line of rubs and sauces, and our American Barbeque 101 classes. We traveled the country over our four years there, teaching others about how to prepare American Barbeque in their own backyard. We also had our own catering company that was very popular (and busy) between private events and vending at car shows, barbeque events/shows, and pop-ups at local restaurants.
